In the Tsunan area of Niigata Prefecture, Japan, lives one of the worlds heaviest snowfall climates inhabited by people.
KOREZO SNOW BREW is a sake made in one of the most remote breweries, where the water, soil, and people have miraculously coexisted for over 1000 years.
The key ingredient in the sake is water from melted snow off a mountain greater than 2000 meters tall. The water is characterized as mellow and “super soft” due to the fine minerals absorbed as it travels down the mountain. The water is paired with Niigata’s renown “Gohyakumanngoku” rice, which is locally grown specifically for brewing sake.
